ABOUT

Praised in performances for her "deeply poetic sensibility" and "refined and accomplished technique" Hebba enjoys a diverse career as a collaborative pianist and is in demand as a chamber musician, accompanist and orchestral pianist. She has worked with many of Scotland's National companies including Scottish Opera, the Edinburgh International Festival, the National Youth Choirs of Scotland and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, alongside her roles as a Lecturer and Accompanist at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Hebba was a Britten-Pears Young Artist in Collaborative Piano, an Associate of the London Philharmonic Orchestra's Foyle Future Firsts, and has been a member of the London Sinfonietta Academy and Oxford Lieder Young Artist Masterclasses.

"Hebba Benyaghla holds the performance firmly together with fluid and flawless music direction on solo piano."

"Hebba Benyaghla’s marathon 2-hour piano performance gave comforting impetus to the production, tastefully-spun in a way that appreciated Bantock’s clustered, often misty-eyed textures and folksy melodic inflexions."
